Cosplay is for Sucks!

I must preface this post first by saying that at one time I bullshitted about dressing up as various anime characters but, just like everything else, it ended up going in the 93% bucket because you just don't do that shit! Yes, I like anime, but there is a breaking point and Cosplay is one of them. Every person that I have ever observed playing dress up is ugly so it just becomes painful to look at. I know people say that it is about the creativity in making the costume and having fun and all of that bullshit! Fuck 'em!!! If you are over the age of twelve, it is no longer acceptable to dress up! Act your age. As with everything else in life....if you are ugly, cover yourself up and try not to draw anymore attention to yourself!!! IT IS NOT HALLOWEEN! YOU ARE NOT CUTE! STOP THAT! STOP THAT!

New Release

So for those of you who do not know I am a big fan of poetry, in particular slam poetry. One of my ALL TIME FAVORITE Artists is Saul Williams who does just a little bit of everything. He is a poet, actor, musician, rap artist and very articulate speaker. Anyway, if you haven't heard of him go and check out his site. He has downloads and more importantly the announcement of his new CD entitled Saul Williams. The CD come out on Sept 21 so you all know what I will be doing on that day.....running around D-town trying to find it because this town has nothing and I can never find anything. God there are times when I miss Chicago. Anyway that is a whole different post entirely. I recommend that you all go out and get his CD and read some of his poetry!

I'm Back...Shit happens!

So yeah it has been awhile since I have checked in. Sorry, I had shit to do.....yes for a whole fucking month! So now my life is back to normal....or at least as normal as it is going to get. I had my family in town and if you keep up with BLM's blog you know how crazy that bunch is! Anyway, my Dad turned fifty or in the words of my cousin who is all of 10 years old he is half dead. I am no longer employed at Dillards...Fuck Dillards anyway! I did get my overtime pay and so did everyone else. It was great, and now they hate me because I made them follow the law and pay their employees for the extra time worked.

So now I am back in school taking more fun and exciting English classes and I am still employed as a nanny. I am taking a shitload of classes this semester, 6 in all for a total of 18 credits. My all time favorite class is my Interpersonal Communication class that I am taking online. It is kinda pathetic, but oh well it works for me and besides most people suck so why do I need a class to learn how to communicate with them.

So now my time will mainly be spent reading and cranking out research papers like there is no tomorrow. Ok so that is what I should be doing but more than likely I will be procrastinating and bullshitting my way to that A. Hey, it has worked for me every time so far, and I have the GPA to back it up so why mess with a proven formula!
